A Revolutionary Practice Model for Infants and Toddlers
Highchair Dental Care® Studios
Welcome to Highchair Dental Care® Studios where the youngest of dental patients receive their first oral care examination, dental cleaning, and fluoride treatment in the comfort of a highchair.
Caregivers are seated next to the infant or toddler and the dental professional is seated in front of the patient. This is where the parent or caregiver will learn the rules of engagement. They will learn how to gently introduce toothbrushing in a systematic routine way for young children with 20 or fewer teeth. Oral hygiene instructions are demonstrated, with brushing recommended immediately following the meal and while the child remains securely seated in their highchair. Dietary choices, nutrition, health status and more are discussed with caregivers.
